The DECIBEL™ Thickening and Volumizing Shampoo is a cleansing, volumizing, and thickening shampoo designed to give hair a denser, more voluminous, and fuller appearance. Its formula is suitable for all hair types and uses the brand’s exclusive 140dB™ Complex technology.

Unlike a volumizing shampoo that only acts on the overall appearance of the hairstyle, DECIBEL™ also aims to visually improve the thickness of each individual fiber. However, the brand specifies that this is a cosmetic effect on the appearance and structure of the hair, and not a product intended to create new hair.

🧬 Technology and key ingredients

140dB™ Complex: Exclusive DECIBEL™ technology composed of a combination of acids and peptides. It is the core thickening technology of the range and is present in the shampoo, conditioner, and Hypertrophy treatment.

Panthenol: present in the current shampoo formulation.

Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract: part of the current formula.

Arginine: amino acid present in the formulation.

Palmaria Palmata Extract: red algae extract integrated into the formula.

Mandelic acid: also present in the current formulation.

The Thickening and Volumizing Shampoo cleanses the hair and scalp while helping to remove excess sebum that can weigh hair down. It provides volume and helps each strand appear visibly thicker. DECIBEL™ presents it as a shampoo that allows you to achieve a thicker, more voluminous, and youthful-looking head of hair.

The formula is also declared by DECIBEL™ to be sulfate-free, color-safe, vegan, and Leaping Bunny certified. It can also be used on hair extensions.

Note: DECIBEL™ specifies that this shampoo is not designed as a detangling shampoo. For more slip, softness, and detangling, the brand recommends following up with the treatment and conditioner.

🧴 Directions for use

Apply the shampoo to wet hair, then massage the hair and scalp until a generous lather is obtained.

For optimal results, leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse. Proceed with your usual styling routine or follow up with other products from the DECIBEL™ range.
